چکیده:
To reduce dynamic response of a semi-rigid frame with bolted connections, energy dissipation materials may be placed at a connection between the end plate and column flange or between the angle and member flange. In this article a three-span three bay frame with semi-rigid connections having three different capacities and energy dissipation materials analytically modeled by idealizing semi-rigid connection and energy dissipation materials as rotational spring and damper, respectively. The numerical model included nonlinear connection behavior, member yielding and geometrical nonlinearity of the structure. The pushover and dynamic analyses of the frames were performed using OPENSEES analysis program and dynamic analyses of frames with and without connection dampers show that there is an optimal damper damping coefficient by which the seismic responses of semi-rigid frame, including lateral displacements can be significantly reduced.

Unlike the Ruy Lopez, which features many sharp theoretical variations, the emphasis in the Italian Game is on knowing where the pieces belong and understanding key plans and ideas. This makes it highly suitable for players who do not have the time to engage in ongoing maintenance of their opening systems. On this DVD Davies examines the modern treatment of the Italian with 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 followed by 4.d3 and then usually c3. The Rossolimo Variation of the Sicilian Defence (1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5) is always an excellent choice with White if you want to avoid the deeply analysed main lines of the Open Sicilian (3.d4), in which the analysis frequently goes deep into the middlegame or sometimes even into the endgame. For that reason the move 3.Bb5 has a fi rm place in the repertoire of many grandmasters where it is welcome above all as an anti-Sveshnikov weapon. Instead of getting involved in a theoretical duel, White logically aims for strategically complex positions, e.g. by exchanging on c6 and at the cost of the bishop pair degrading Black’s pawn structure (doubled pawns c6/c5). This results in positions in which positional understanding is more important than knowledge of specific variations - meaning that only players who are aware of the general plans and typical piece manoeuvres will be able to find their way through them. Alexei Shirov provides you with the requisite understanding of the subtleties of these positions, by annotating extensively his most important games in this variation. The Grünfeld Defence was invented by the famous Austrian Grandmaster Ernst Grünfeld in the early twenties of the last century. One of the first reactions to it came from the great Akiba Rubinstein - the g3 system, fianchettoing the bishop to g2. After that many systems were tried to refute the Grünfeld and nothing really worked. So, Rubinstein's recipe remains a very important positional approach against this dynamic opening.
